the blogging world

As I look through blog after blog, I find that there is a very interesting world with some fascinating people out there. Not only do some of them seem desperate to have someone hear them, but they also have some very interesting stories to tell. This is all very new to me, and it almost seems strange. These people are actually putting themselves out there and allowing complete strangers to read any thing they have to say. I mean, I guess in a way it's okay, because it's like free therapy.

There was one blog I found particularly fascinating, 'All things Dunkin' Donuts'. And that's just what it was, 'For the Dunkin' Donuts enthusiasts of the world'. I find this neat to look at because it's not normally something I would find myself stopping to read, but I did. There's a ton of news about Dunkin' Donuts around the world, most of which I've never head of, or realized. That is, until now. I can now have my cup full if I choose to read the 'All things Dunkin' Donuts' blog and satisfy my knowledge of coffee and donuts, wonderful.

Then there are these other blog sites that are like a journal to some people. And yet again, I find myself stopping to read what they have to say. I mean I must have read one guys entry for a few minutes which was just saying how he had to get is prescription changed for his eye glasses. That's not normally something that I would be particularly interested in, especially if i didn't know you, but I guess being introduced to this new world I for some reason have found it intriguing.

I guess my point is that there is just so much information roaming around on this World Wide Web that you could fascinate yourself with it for every hour that you are awake, daily for the rest of your life. And still, I think every day, possibly even every hour you would find some new web site, or some strange person that posted something you never heard of before. When people say 'there's a whole world out there', I think it's time we all started to listen to them.
